MACHINE ASSISTANT (FEEDER/PACKER)

To assist the machine minders in the effective feeding of materials into the machines or packing of product on end of machines.

Hours : 1 week early shift, followed by 1 week late shift Early shift: 05:55 to 13:30 Mon-Thu + 05:55 to 14:45 Fri, with 20min unpaid lunch break

Late Shift: 13:30 to 23:20 Mon-Wed + 13:30 to 22:50 Thu with 20min unpaid lunch break Night Shift may be required Oct-Jan

Holiday : 26 Days paid annual leave plus bank holidays

Term : Permanent (successful candidates must pass the initial 3 month probationary period prior to permanent contract). There is the potential to learn additional skills and develop at the company to further increase the rate of pay.




TRAINEE GLUE MACHINE MINDER

We require someone to learn the skills to become a glue machine minder, whilst assisting the machine minders in the day-to-day running of the machines, such as feeding the products into the machine. And to also assist the machine minders in rapid change overs, and wash-ups.

Job Purpose: To learn the skills required to become a minder of our world class glue machines.

Hours : 1 week early shift, followed by 1 week late shift Early shift: 05:55 to 13:30 Mon-Thu + 05:55 to 14:45 Fri, with 20min unpaid lunch break

Late Shift: 13:30 to 23:20 Mon-Wed + 13:30 to 22:50 Thu with 20min unpaid lunch break

Holiday : 26 Days paid annual leave plus bank holidays

Term : Permanent (successful candidates must pass the initial 3 month probationary period prior to permanent contract). Pay will increase as additional skills are learnt.



SHEETFED FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINT APPRENTICE

We require someone to learn the skills of a Flexographic minder, whilst assisting the minder in their day to day running of the machine. We will pay for the training costs of the apprenticeship.

Job Purpose: To become NVQ Level 3 certified in Machine Printing – Flexography, so that you can maintain and run our flexographic press efficiently.

Hours : 1 week early shift, followed by 1 week late shift Early shift: 05:55 to 13:30 Mon-Thu + 05:55 to 14:45 Fri, with 20min unpaid lunch break

Late Shift: 13:30 to 23:20 Mon-Wed + 13:30 to 22:50 Thu with 20min unpaid lunch break

ASSISTANT SHIFT MANAGER

We require someone to provide problem solving ideas across all 9 machines. We also require the standardisation of make readies on all machines then the continuous review and improvement on these to allow us to produce smaller batches more regularly. As a shift manager you will be there to offer knowledge and support to those running the machines, ensuring we have adequate staffing for each machine, reducing wastes, and increasing throughput. Ensuring the products and consumables arrive at the next process to meet all delivery dates.

Hours : 1 week early shift, followed by 1 week late shift Early shift: 05:55 to 13:40 Mon-Thu + 05:55 to 14:55 Fri, with 30min unpaid lunch break

Late Shift: 13:20 to 23:20 Mon-Wed + 13:20 to 22:50 Thu with 30min unpaid lunch break Night shift: 10pm-6am Sun-Fri (September – December – 50% shift premium)

Holiday : 26 Days paid annual leave plus bank holidays Term : Permanent (successful candidates must pass the initial 3 month probationary period prior to permanent contract).

Job Purpose: To cover for shift manager when absent, when they are present you will be working in other areas that need cover. Main objective is to increase the throughput of goods through the factory, reducing wastes and increasing quality.
